This system is called 90 degree vertical parking. You should get the gist of what I am about to say just by reading the heading. Yup, you guessed it right. This is a new parking system, which basically grabs you car and flips it around and parks it. It is fully automated. But! is it possible? Will people accept this radical Idea?

What about the thing that you place in your cars dashboard, what about the oil tank that is not designed to be in such a position. These are just a few of many complication that would arise with such a parking. That doesn’t mean that it is not good. What it does mean is that, It is not meant for this time. There should be new types of cars. I agree that this system is a giant place saver and would be interesting to try out, but it is just too impractical at this moment. If future cars are built to fit such specifications it might be possible. In this economy no one is willing to take such radical risks. There are many car companies that are not even releasing their most successful radical concepts due to the fear of further loss. So, this might not become reality in the near future but it definitely is some food for the brain.

That is when I came across this nice little programme called DragThing. I know there are many customizers that are available for mac, which to be frank at better to be not present. They, most of the time, don’t offer any type of services to people on intel macs.

DragThing is a nice programme. It costs about $29 (please by the software) and they do have a trail version of this software at http://www.dragthing.com . This software offers ultimate customization for your desktop, with multiple docks, which can be customized to will and placed anywhere on the whole screen.

Some of its extra spacial features include dock like items, called drawers, which hide on the sides  of the wall and then come out as thou you were pulling on them. You can check them in action the video below this. Then, the humongous trash can they offer which is really nice.

It is does not take up all the ram you have, or slow down your computer. Even with five docks, one of which is the default one with mac, my computer did not slow down, considerably. I have been using it for about 6 hours and I am already used to it. The sounds customization that you can add to this, just makes the experience better. Try out the trail version and you will understand that it is something that you would really like to have. I bought the full version in about an hour, and hopefully you would to. If you are living in this modern world and surrounded by computer it is pretty safe to say that you have come across some files called torrents. These files, though small, provide you information to download considerably large files. But the problem is your browser cannot use this information, they need specific downloader that are capable of using these files and downloading the files that you actually need.

There are many torrent programmes out in the market, some of the popular ones are the above ones, especially for macs. They all have some or the other thing that they are better at but to be frank we all need the fastest ones. At least I want the one that get the stuff I want the fastest. For this test, I did consider many factors but I think speed is the only one people are most concerned about.

All the above programs are free. Transmission has no search functionality, while uTorrent offer a mere search functionality, Vuze on the other hand has a special interface built for it which sometime can get really frustrating. The former programs are lightweight and will not clog your computer, atleast as per my experience.

I used a common file with the above three programs, to test the speed on common networks. I am using a high speed internet connection, so your speed might not match up to mine or might be better than mine but play close attention to the ratio of the speed differences rather than the speed itself.

uTorrent was extremely fast comparing to the any other torrent client I tired, it would be understatement stating that it was extremely fast. I did use some paid programmes with the same file, and even they did not come close to the speeds uTorrent gives.

I was a religious user of Transmission, as of this morning I am switching to uTorrent. The pictures I published before should explain my switch. I do like some functionality transmission offers, such as selective downloading, which either of them dont offer, but it is not a fair bargain if the download did not even start, while the download is 100% in uTorrent.

I am sick of creating a blog and not sticking with it due to my irregularities, but this time I will do it. This year has brought so many changes in my life and this will be added to it.
